I like this place. Toilets are clean, there’s free water and the bar has good prices. But today the place was full (normal in exam period) i couldn’t find any free seat until i saw a table of 4 . 2 of them had stuff so I guess that those people went out for a break. The other seats were taken by this girl who was using her book and laptop taking the space of the seat in front of her. So I seat in the chair that was in front of her. the girl moved her laptop very reluctantly. 3 hours later (and a lot of people who will pass by us after looking for a free seat that couldn’t found) the girl got up and collects the things that were in the other seats and around the table. So she was seating in a table of 4 using all the space for herself and make it look like there was other people there, so she could had the whole table by herself in a full library.

Beautiful library with always free parking and charging towers for electric cars, two floors, power sockets at all tables and a small terrace for eating, smoking or chatting. There is also a very good if a little expensive bar on the ground floor with outside tables. I don't give 5 stars only for the constant presence of rude people who arrive and claim to "book" half of the seats leaving single sheets of notes on each table, if the employees do something about it, even just put a sign I'll go back to change mine review.

Is it possible that San Lazzaro is unable to offer a better service for students? I remember that the municipality is located in the hinterland of one of the most important university cities in Italy. In order of importance: 1) Finding a seat in the study room of the Media Library is a challenge if you don't arrive before opening or, fingers crossed, at lunch time. There are very few places for what the user base is! The upstairs used as a study room is so crammed that they no longer know where to put tables and chairs while the downstairs is often empty but used for other activities. It certainly doesn't help rude users who keep a notebook to occupy their seats for hours and hours while they are away doing something else. 2) I can understand the Sunday closing, but why isn't it open on Monday morning? But this, unfortunately, is a problem for many libraries outside the historic center 3) Few power outlets. Having had to add tables in unlikely places, some of them lack sockets for charging the computer 4) The bar is expensive and the people who work there seemed to me to be less than courteous on more than one occasion, almost annoyed by charging low amounts with a card (bottle of water and coffee) 5) The parking lot is huge but shared with the sports hall and the schools, so sometimes even finding parking is complicated

I visited this facility for work reasons and was pleasantly impressed. The place is beautiful, very bright, colourful. Large tables and comfortable chairs for studying. Fast Wifi. Attached bar. Clean facilities. The staff was very kind and competent. As a citizen I am satisfied with how my money was spent on a beautiful and functional public thing.
